Overweight Epidemic


At the beginning of the year, we always think of weight management.  Essential oils are a terrific and natural way to suppress appetite and calm emotions as they relate to food and stress. Reaching and maintaining your ideal weight is a very important step towards achieving vibrant health. Essential oils can be part of a lifestyle change. Possible causes for excess weight gain
- Genetics and Aging
- Consuming too many sweets [high fructose corn syrup], salt or carbs
- Toxic environment – home or city/ where pesticides are frequently used / pollution
- Poor eating habits - irregular, infrequent  or unbalanced meals
- Fast food or chemically altered foods [GMO’s]
- Improperly prepared foods – cooking with a microwave
- Over-cooking foods or using box/canned/prepared  foods – nutrient deficient
- Poor or no exercise routine
- Slow metabolism or have poorly functioning glands
- Allergies and hormonal imbalances
- Inflammatory response to certain foods, ie. gluten
- Parasites and Candida and a dirty colon
